Stopped on a 3-lane busy road when I realized there was something large blocking the middle lane and I had no one behind me for a minute or two. Stopped in that lane, threw on my hazards, and sprinted.
Turns out it was a Jeep Liberty tire cover.
I mean, seriously people. Don’t be a jerk. How could you not notice that flying off your tire?

We were all avoiding the right lane on I-95 north of Palm Beach because something was in it. Then a GTI decided to pass all of us on the right going about 90. Luckily for him it was a pillow but holy shit did it explode everywhere.

I pulled a chair out of the middle of the road at midnight a few weeks ago. People are stupid.

Lmao people very frequently don’t notice me in my car driving right next to them. Someone not noticing their tire cover flying off doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.

I posted this a while ago, but I don’t know why the person who lost it didn’t go back. I mean, they had to know.

I ran over A LADDER on the interstate during our last family trip. I’m amazed I didn’t end up with a flat.

True, since it looked like a glasspack to me. I’d still think you would hear the change, though, and you sure as h ell would hear and feel it scrape .

I wouldn’t expect people to notice a tire cover coming off unless it got caught partially off and started making a lot of noise. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t make sure it is secure of course.

I saw an extension ladder come off a roofer's truck two lanes over from me on the interstate a couple years ago. There's no way in hell I could have avoided it had I been behind him.

Last week I was going up a hill behind a first gen ranger with a gigantic 6 burner BBQ grill unsecured in the back and I had just enough time to think to myself “that’s not safe” before it flew out of the bed of the truck and landed in the middle of a 50MPH 4 lane road

depends on the driver. Stuck in traffic going to work, I was behind a pick up , everytime he accelerated you could see the exhaust come out from below and see the hanging muffler. In the shuffle I get up beside him and this guy is just twi tch ing inhis seat and tw eaking out.

I’m not gonna lie, if the ladder I saw fall off a truck had happened on a regular road, instead of the interstate ... I probably would have stopped to grab it. Although the guy I saw lose that ladder, did actually stop to pick it up.

It was probably broken already , so the tone didn’t change.
